Mobile machines

Electrification and hybridization of mobile machines is a very important topic, especially with regard to climate protection. The demands on mobility are constantly increasing and so more and more aspects have to be taken into account when developing new, emission-free solutions. Especially in applications where mobile working machines are intended for a long service life, a major contribution to global climate protection can be made by reducing CO2 emissions.

  • In order to achieve these goals, various solution approaches must be considered. This includes not only pure battery solutions, but also hybrid energy systems as well as other technologies and techniques such as fuel cells or solar energy systems. When using a hybrid energy supply, different power sources can be used equally to achieve efficient output power. This can significantly improve both energy consumption and vehicle durability. But there are still many technical challenges in designing such systems: The desired power range must be identified; the optimal hybrid (batteries plus motor system) must be found; an intelligent control system must be developed and implemented; all component testing must be performed; and ultimately, the system must be optimized according to the application criteria.

E-buses

Waste collection vehicles
