Drives induction and synchronous motor types w/o speed sensor: The new RPCS 740-2x17K

The new auxilary inverter RPCS 740-2x17K is the perfect match for power steering pump, hydraulic pump, brake compressor and HVAC. It drives any motor type including permanent magnet synchronous motors using sensorless vector control. It operates reliably up to 65°C coolant temperature without derating. In addition, the inverter complies with automotive standards and interfaces including SAE J1939. It was developed according to ISO 26262, ISO 6469-3, ECE R100 safety standards and type tested for harsh environment as per ISO 16750. Active and passive discharge option completes the feature set.

The REFUdrive auxiliary inverters in the power classes 15K to 55K are perfectly suited to implement electric drives close to the axle or wheel as well as auxiliary drives. They are particularly compact and can drive two motors simultaneously. This saves space compared to using two separate devices and minimises the effort for cabling and cooling connections.

Our water-cooled units protect with IP6K9K and allow operation of fast motors up to 2,000 Hz. With a dual drive option, two AC motors or one AC motor and one DC source can be used to save costs.
